Location: Calgary, AB – British Columbia

Job Description: We’re looking for a Wholesale Investment Relationship Manager in the Financial Services Industry (Region Calgary as well as the rest of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba)Our client is a forward-thinking leader in investment services, dedicated to building strong partnerships with IIROC and EMD Advisors. They value a collaborative approach to business development and are known for their high-quality financial products. The Wholesale Investment Relationship Manager will play a key role in driving sales through relationship management and territory-based business development efforts.Relationship Manager responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one meetings and branch presentations with advisors
  • Build investor interest through marketing materials and presentations
  • Use networking, seminars, and other methods to promote investment offerings
  • Effectively communicate details of investment products to advisors
  • Maintain consistent contact with IIROC and EMD Advisors
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations
  • Provide regular updates and communications to distribution lists
  • Internal reporting and tasks:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products
  • Update potential and existing advisors on new offerings
  • Work with management to secure approval for agreements and arrangements
  • Collaborate with Compliance to increase advisor engagement
  • Adhere to all regulatory and registration requirements

The successful candidate has:

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services sales or business development
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficient with SalesForce, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in preparing and conducting professional presentations
  • A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing environments
  • Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and/or Exempt Market Proficiency (EMP) certification preferred but not required
