Passionate about customer service, you enjoy engaging with youth and their families and supporting activities within the shop. This position interacts and services our community by supporting student fittings, labeling and pricing merchandise, responding to inquiries and maintaining inventory.The hours consist of a part-time schedule between October to April with additional hours during peak times, including full-time hours between May to September. The Uniform Shop is closed for the month of July when the Assistant is not required to work.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Develop good relationships with Students, Parents, Alumnae and Staff through optimal customer serviceEngage and interact with students and families visiting the shopSupport the Shop Manager in daily operations of the storeOperate the Point of Sale (POS) system including sales, returns and inventory dataMaintenance of Shopify site to update inventory items available for purchaseManager with merchandise deliveries including confirming accuracy of packing slipsLabel or price merchandise and clean up displays to upkeep a tidy environmentStock shelves and displays with merchandiseAddress customer inquiries and concerns and answer the phoneAssist with student uniform fittingsCollaborate with Manager to create and implement seasonal and sales displays in the ShopMaintain Health & Safety protocolsFilling online orders and prepare for shipping including taking orders to post officeSchedule uniform order pickupMonitor inventory and assist with inventory counts as required and at year endCandidate ProfileAs the ideal candidate you have an acute sense of customer service and have at least 1 to 3 years of retail experience. We are looking for the candidate to be confident and comfortable engaging students and parents to deliver an elevated experience and with a keen attention to detail..
