Job Description: **Thank you in advance for the interest, but please do not apply to this position if you do not have a valid work permit**Our client, a leading company in the design, development and distribution of a full range of apparel and accessories, is looking for an experienced Traffic Coordinator to join their team!Responsibilities:· Actual costing
· Approve booking
· Follow up with suppliers for outstanding orders based on projected shipping date
· Monitor shipments in transit and ensure timely deliveries
· Arrange shipments by truck, boat and air
· Manage and prepare the necessary customs and import documentation
· Verifying all brokers/forwarders bills for payment
· Arrange payments and verifying all discrepancies and deductions
· FOB business
· Issuing debit notes for approved claimsQualifications:· 2-4 years of experience in a similar traffic role, experience in the garment industry is an asset
· Essential – knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook software, experience with Momentis is an
asset
· Knowledge of trade lanes and services available both in Canada and USA
· Solid judgement and analytical skills
· Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
· Good energy and initiative level
· Ability to multitask and be flexible to do other related work as required
