Location: Markham, ON

Job Description: Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid with a minimum of 3 days onsite. We may require the contractor to be fully onsite for the first 1-2 months for rapid ramp-up.
This design team is responsible for the thermal, mechanical, and acoustic design of graphics cards, including the RadeonTM and Radeon ProTM line of desktop and workstation cards. This team is essential to the success as a growing company!The Role:
As a Thermal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing various aspects of thermal solution design.The Person:
We are seeking an experienced Thermal Mechanical Design Engineer with a proven track record in thermal simulation and optimization. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can work cross-functionally, solve complex problems, and has the ability to automate and simplify complex simulations.Preferred Experience:

• CFD: Extensive experience with thermal simulations and optimization methodologies required.
• CFD Software: In-depth knowledge of FloTHERM and Icepak is a key qualification.
• CAD: Experience with SolidWorks.
• FEA: FEA experience is a plus, preferably using ANSYS, but not required.
• Experience in scripting/programming languages such as Python preferred, but not required.
• Previous relevant experience in electronics-cooling-related Thermal/Mechanical Engineering is a plus.

Academic Credentials:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Thermal/Mechanical Engineering or a related area.
