Job Description: NSB Omega Is Searching for a Talent Acquisition Analyst for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in Calgary, AB.Description:
The Talent Acquisition team is on a mission to find our next Talent Acquisition Analyst! This key support role is essential to the success of our Talent Acquisition function and Talent Acquisition Partners. As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to support the Talent Acquisition function across all aspects to ensure efficient, timely, and proactive recruitment activities. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvements and system enhancements, contributing to the evolution of our recruitment processes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the TA team, ensuring Cenovus continues to build a strong and competitive workforce. Your contributions will be critical in shaping our talent acquisition success!Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy of requisition and position data prior to job postings.
  • Oversee the entire candidate experience and engagement process.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews for both internal and external candidates.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidate inquiries, including those from internal staff, external applicants, and contractors, and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Manage the employee referral program.
  • Assist in customizing job postings and manage internal and external job postings across various platforms.
  • Oversee all background checks and manage vendor relationships.
  • Utilize recruitment tools such as VidCruiter, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  • Support the end-to-end hiring process contractors (Canada only).
  • Contribute to system enhancements and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist with sourcing and candidate attraction strategies.
  • Maintain and update Talent Acquisition documentation.

QualificationsOur ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources is an asset.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • At least 1 year of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Experience with Workday and SuccessFactors is an asset.
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a tactful and collaborative approach to recruitment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with hiring leaders and candidates.
