Job Description: Subsidiary: Colas Canada Inc.Job SummaryEmployment type: Permanent, Full-timeReporting to: Senior Manager of Talent ManagementRemote work: Hybrid, 2 days remote per weekLocation: 4950 Young St, Toronto ON M2N 6K1Start date : As soon as possibleRole’s missionThe Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of talent acquisition and talent management initiatives and programs that align with Colas Canada’s overarching business objectives and talent strategy.Main Responsibilities
- Work with the talent acquisition committee to enhance hiring efficiencies and adopt best practices
- Analyze onboarding metrics and support initiatives to improve the integration and engagement of new hires
- Support employer branding initiatives to create and promote content that clearly and accurately articulates our employment value proposition
- Forge strong partnerships with universities and colleges to access emerging talent and stay updated on academic trends and student interests
- Support recruitment efforts as needed with candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing
- Create and maintain a repository of updated job profiles and job descriptions to support Job evaluation and related projects
- Monitor and analyze recruitment KPIs across subsidiaries, identify trends and recommend solutions
- Establish and maintain partnerships with local community organizations, nonprofits and professional associations to ensure access to a diverse candidate pipeline
- Assist in tracking and reporting on diversity metrics
- Support the coordination and implementation of events and programs to enhance talent outcomes
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
- 3-5 years experience in talent acquisition, talent management or human resources. Experience in a COE or similar environment is an asset
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition principles and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS suite is required
