Work Arrangement: Hybrid Light (In office once per week) with 2-week on-call rotation periods.Note: This is a full-time temporary project position until September 30, 2025, with the potential for extension.As far back as you can remember, you’ve always had a passion for technology. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report to the Team Lead, Enterprise Applications (support roadside and call center applications).
  • You’ll participate in change, supporting a culture of continual improvement.
  • You’ll contribute to feedback loops within the team, department and organization to improve efficiency and remove non-value adding tasks within the Enterprise Applications team.
  • You’ll adhere to documentation on application security operating procedures and protocols, considering security at all stages of operation.
  • You’ll participate in supporting existing applications that are used to provide roadside and call center services. This could include end user support, troubleshooting, patching, and functionality enhancements.
  • You’ll assist in the development and maintenance of queries and other database objects to support reporting and analysis initiatives.
  • Under the direction of senior team members, you will support the creation and maintenance of reporting and analytics assets.
  • You’ll participate in the testing, documentation, and implementation of software releases.
  • You’ll participate in executing Proof of Concept projects and tasks.
  • You’ll participate in activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the AMA’s roadside and call center applications.
  • You’ll help administer, monitor, measure, and improve roadside and call center applications across the organization.
  • You’ll identify problem resolutions to address root causes to minimize any repeat incidents.
  • Under the direction of senior team members, you’ll explore areas appropriate for further study.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • You have a related post-secondary education (Information Technology Diploma or Computer Science degree is an asset).
  • You’ve got at least 2 years of experience in desktop support, application systems analysis, systems implementation/deployment, system administration, reporting and analytics.
  • Demonstrated Tier 1 / 2 support experience with Power BI, SQL Server Administration (SSMS), PL-SQL tools such as SQL Developer or TOAD, and data warehousing using Snowflake is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the following is desired:
  • Working with ticketing systems like ServiceNow
  • Doing on-call work
  • Oracle Server administration
  • SSIS
  • TSQL (queries, views, stored procedures)
  • Power Automate
  • Experience with the following is an asset:
  • Familiarity with API web services and development
  • Experience working with / administering Linux in business environments.
  • Experience working with various types of infrastructure including: Cloud(AWS), SaaS, VM, and Client server applications
  • Agile (lean, SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Experience with ADO
  • Experience with telephony
  • You’ll get bonus points if you have the following systems experience:
  • Financial Management applications such as Epicor and other SaaS financial systems setup
  • Call receiving & dispatching systems
  • API testing platforms such as Postman
