Job Description: Currently, we are looking for a Structural Engineer (Intermediate / Senior) in response to a growing
workload within our structural consulting practice.
Location: Winnipeg
Hours: Daytime hours, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time, permanent, in-office position
Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10+ years’ experience in the design of
building structures and components. Assets would include:
o
exposure to design with all materials;
o
experience in computer modelling;
o
excellent written communication skills;
o
experience working within a multidisciplinary consultant team;
o
experience with site investigations / forensic engineering

This candidate should be registered (or eligible for registration) with CTTAM or EGM.
Key Responsibilities:

Structural design and management of multiple projects of varying sizes with involvement
spanning from schematic design through completion of construction. This would include but not
be limited to design, provision of sketches and markups for drafting, and review of drawings to
ensure designs meet governing body standards and engineering best practices.

Structural restoration projects would involve the investigation, assessment, restoration, and
protection of existing concrete, masonry, steel, and wood structures

Building envelope restoration projects include site investigation, design, and contract
administration of building and roofing restoration projects

Collaborate with internal colleagues and external project team members for successful
completion of projects
