Job Description: Job Description:Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management team on an 18-month contract. As the Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you are responsible for a variety of Operation & Maintenance services. The prime focus of the role is to drive cost efficiency to increase profitability of existing and new assets. The role is accountable for developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiations and administering executed contracts to secure and preserve value. Services can include electrical, mechanical, maintenance labour, scaffolding, insulation service and equipment rentals.Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, with a proven ability to work independently and drive impactful results.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Operations & Maintenance in a brownfield environment, including its unique challenges, risks, and opportunities.
• Knowledge of IT (hardware, software, and services) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of all SCM functions, including strategic sourcing, contract management, and purchasing.
• Must have: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams and departments.
• Proven negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering favourable outcomes in sourcing and contract discussions.
• A self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment, yet is also highly collaborative when engaging with stakeholders and suppliers.
