We are passionate about continuous improvement and operate with high-integrity, motivated by our desire to do the right thing for our clients.As the Senior Manager, Adjusting and Appraisal Services you will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives and ensuring effective delivery of a superior client experience for auto claims, maintenance of a highly engaged workforce, management of loss costs and adherence to claims handling guidelines. You will provide second-level technical direction to managers regarding policy interpretation, claims handling processes and standards, loss cost controls, and adjusting expense controls to achieve organizational objectives for growth and profitability.How you will create impact:
- Continuously enhance client engagement within the auto physical damage claims experience by identifying opportunities and leading the implementation of operational and technical solutions.
- Drive business processes and efficiency by proactively overseeing and leading continuous identification and implementation of process improvements and innovations.
- Creating and embedding a high-performance culture through alignment of the work with organizational goals and successfully convey messages with a sense of positive advocacy.
- Leading, implementing and supporting change initiatives by using effective change management principles that minimize service impacts, manage the people-side of change to increase the speed of adoption and realize the benefits.
- Providing leadership and support with the national claims handling procedures, processes and standards, national reserve practices by ensuring compliance with procedures, file handling, client service, reserving and loss cost guidelines, including developing plans, solutions, strategies, and tactics to address adverse trends in quality and the claims discipline results.
- Understanding the claims portfolio and leverage descriptive analytics and storytelling to proactively identify and monitor opportunities and trends including identifying risks to the claim’s operation and developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with business partners to achieve common understanding of business objectives, results, challenges and proactively act on opportunities and develop innovative client solutions.
- Coaching and developing your team, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.

To join our team:
- You have 5-7 years of Claims Management experience or related insurance experience, with strong claims operational and discipline knowledge at a national level, and five years of experience demonstrating dynamic leadership at a national level.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management or related discipline.
- You have your Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, and are working towards Fellow Chartered Insurance professional (FCIP).
- You have or will attain applicable provincial license(s).
- You have exceptional communication skills, expert knowledge and experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, managing a complex and dynamic environment, using data analytics to enhance decision making, insurance concepts and metrics, and building strong relationships.
