Title of the Job: Sr. Labour Relations Consultant

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description: Do you have at least 5 years of labour relations experience? Our client in the non-profit sector is seeking a Senior Labour Relations Consultant for a 10-month contract. This role will support the organization in navigating its transition to a unionized environment and will be crucial in the upcoming collective bargaining process.Location: Toronto
Salary: $35-39 per hour

-Lead and implement a strategic approach to collective bargaining.
-Negotiate collective agreements and represent the organization in regulatory matters.
-Develop and deliver management training programs related to labour and employee relations.
-Conducted internal investigations and managed employee termination processes.
-Maintain proactive relationships with employees, union representatives, and industry professionals.Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Relations, HR Management, or a related field.
-5-7 years of experience in Labour Relations, including collective bargaining.
-Experience in a multi-union industry setting is preferred.
-Professional human resource certification (CHRP, CHRL) is an asset.
-Strong knowledge of relevant provincial and federal legislation.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Summary
