We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.As a Software Engineer II for Cosmos DB, you’ll design and implement features to boost scalability and performance, optimize system efficiency, and resolve complex issues. You’ll write high-quality code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of industry trends to drive innovation. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior engineers and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.We do not just value differences or different perspectives. - Develop Features: Enhance Cosmos DB’s scalability and performance.
- Optimize Performance: Improve system efficiency through tuning and indexing.
- Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and fix complex database problems.
- Ensure Code Quality: Write and review robust, maintainable code.
- Collaborate: Partner with teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Drive Innovation: Apply emerging technologies to advance Cosmos DB.
- Mentor: Guide and support junior engineers in their development.
Embody our andQualifications:Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
