As part of the Operations team and reporting to the Production/Quality Manager, you will work between Stores, Paint, and Test Departments to ensure the smooth flow of product throughout the facility.– In Stores department, you will be responsible for picking and shipping orders for internal and external customers. Using a printed bill of materials, you will navigate through the stores area and collect the necessary parts to fulfill orders.
– At Paint department, you will assist in the prepping of product prior to painting by masking off areas of parts, hanging parts on paint racks, assisting in maintaining the paint equipment, and may be trained to paint (if interested).
– At Test department , you will make plumbing, mechanical and/or basic electrical connections to functionally test a variety of pumps before sending them to paint. During testing pumps are inspected for leaks and vibration as well as having their performance recorded and compared to standards.Job Requirements:
– Must be willing to operate a forklift and crane (training will be provided).
– Must be able to navigate assembly drawings to determine how to correctly assemble various models of pumps
– Must have mechanical skills
– Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.
