As part of a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals, you will provide the technical support necessary to ensure reliable and efficient operations. You will provide solutions to chronic equipment problems and initiate or participate in failure studies of stationary and rotating equipment. You will also analyze equipment performance reports to identify and implement opportunities for improvement so that the reliability of your area is not only maintained, but increased.In this role you will identify opportunities to maximize asset availability, provide solutions to chronic equipment problems, and reduce cost, while operating safely and meeting Suncor technical standards. You will be an integral member of our maintenance reliability group at our Montreal refinery, where you will be responsible for rotating and stationary equipment.Minimum Requirements:Fifteen or more years of work experience in heavy industrial settings, or equivalentFluent in French and have a working knowledge of written and spoken English (Please submit your resume in French)Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineeringMember of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible to quickly become a memberIn-depth knowledge of rotating equipmentKnowledge of stationary equipment would also be considered an assetTechnical knowledge and knowledge of applicable engineering standards would also be considered an asset (ex.
