Job Description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The U.S. Chief Transformation Office (US CTO) serves as thought and execution partners to senior executives in RBC U.S., offering targeted support for high-priority and complex strategic problems. The team also acts as a catalyst for transformation, cross-platform collaboration, new capability development, and drives RBC U.S.’s strategic agenda across LOB, U.S. Executive Committee, and Group Head levels.USCTO offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting environment with unique exposure to distinct parts of RBC U.S., RBC’s second home market. Working within a high-performance area of the bank, the team provides opportunities for skill development, career advancement, and the chance to bring some of the bank’s most impactful initiatives to life.What will you do?Strategic Initiatives Delivery
- Plans and executes projects with value of >$10M in benefit/investments, and high level of complexity and uncertainty including managing project scope, requirement changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities as well as determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions
- Leverage frameworks, approaches, tools and methodologies to develop robust strategic insights, recommendations, and solutions to support RBC U.S. CEO, RBC U.S. Executive Committee, and lines of business
- Ensure transformation strategies are well developed and aligned across businesses and proactively identify benefits such as scale, simplification, new capabilities, and revenue growth opportunities
- Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate prioritization decisions with senior leaders and cross-functional project teams by providing rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis
Governance Support
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track the progress and performance of cross-platform initiatives and maintain a calendar of key milestones and deadlines
- Liaise with US CTO project teams and stakeholders to develop continuous reporting of project status, risk factors, track defined metrics of value creation
- Provide forward-looking view of project health, surface early indicators of roadblocks and provide solutions
Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Work closely with Second-Line-of-Defense Risk Management to ensure engagement and support the development of high-quality executive reporting to communicate portfolio progress and key insights
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
- 3+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Consulting, Product Management or Capital Markets, and financial modeling experience
- Demonstrated ability in project design, management and implementation in a strategy setting
- Capacity to organize information structurally to effectively solve strategic problems, and communicate solutions to deliver high impact results
- Strong written and oral presentation skills with interpersonal skills to collaborate at every level of the organization

Nice-to-have
- MBA or graduate/post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent
- Minimum two years of deep and broad management consulting experience with an emphasis on business strategy
- Domain expertise a bonus, but not a necessity
