Job Description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Financial Crimes Governance team is responsible for two primary purposes: ensuring that a robust and consistent approach to Financial Crimes risk management is adopted at all levels across the Enterprise (including legal entities, regions, segment, and global functions), and ensuring that the Financial Crimes Team is correctly governed. Governance encompasses oversight of FC Business Management, Operational Risk, Reporting, Issues and Exam management, Policies and Procedures, Risk and Controls, Training and Communications Regulatory Compliance Management, Stakeholder Engagements and overall fostering a culture of integrity and accountability within the department.Reporting to the Director, FC Business Management, the Senior Manager FC Business Management supports the team in the efficient and effective running of the FC function through resource management and oversight of business management operations including facilities issues/moves and other office/general administration support.The role holder will interact and co-ordinate with a number of global and regional stakeholders including senior members of the FC Leadership team as applicable. This role acts as the Director’s officer in charge in the Toronto location.The individual will be required to share best practice globally and Influence stakeholder teams in a positive manner.What will you do?Supports the Director primarily in resource management of the Financial Crimes function by: * ongoing tracking of resources and reviewing/analyzing resource reports and providing Director with relevant actionable information

  • ongoing update and maintenance of organizational charts
  • coordinating Early Talent, Wall of Numbers, monitored employees and other resource-related initiatives/matters
  • coordinating Health & Safety Committee, Fire Warden Committee and other premise or facilities-related matters
  • coordinating office moves
  • preparing various reporting such as Return to Premises/no show list, other premises or resource-related reports for various stakeholders including Global Head of Governance and FC Management Committee
  • oversight of Business Management Operations staff and first point of escalation for operations-type matters; back-up for onboarding/offboarding support
  • providing general office/business management or administrative support to senior leadership team including support with Coupa/Concur/Workday/Beeline related queries, invoice/expense processing, etc
  • liaison between FC function and Recruitment/HR, Building Management, GRM Business Management, Business Continuity Management
  • providing regular and ad hoc analyses and reports as required by stakeholders
  • responding to ad hoc requests and other projects as assigned

This role also provides coverage within the team and general support to the function.What do you need to succeed?Must have

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to distil complex and varied data into information; good process analysis and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure that information is captured in a timely manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload effectively in line with business priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to succeed within a matrix management structure and build and maintain global team relationships.
  • Team player

Nice to have

  • Previous background of working in a matrix organization structure; ability to work with individuals at different levels
  • Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a global organization
  • Project Management and a strong relationship management
