Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionAs the Senior Catering Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and exceeding catering revenue targets for Scotiabank Arena, Real Sports, and e11even. Reporting directly to the Director of Catering & Club Restaurants, you will lead a team of six direct reports and actively seek out new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. Your leadership will support the overall objectives of the catering team and contribute to the success of our venues.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of six direct reports, providing regular feedback and performance management to ensure the achievement of departmental goals.
  • Identify and pursue new markets to drive revenue growth, leveraging networking opportunities, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Manage incoming catering sales inquiries, coordinate contracts and banquet Event Orders, and handle all aspects related to the client file.
  • Cultivate and expand the existing client database, identifying opportunities to enhance sales.
  • Support the Director in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Organize and participate in internal and external site visits, client entertaining events, and luncheons to showcase our venues and services.
  • Collaborate with other MLSE business units to leverage promotions, corporate sponsor benefits, partnerships, and special events to increase food and beverage sales across MLSE Venues.
  • Support the servicing and evaluation of contractual commitments with corporate partners.
  • Assist with and manage internal events as required.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Catering & Club Restaurants.

  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience within the hospitality industry, demonstrating success in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Energetic, personable, and results-driven, with a genuine passion for hospitality and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A high-energy, service-oriented attitude with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
