Title of the Job: Senior Fund Accountant

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description: About Our Client:Our client is seeking a professional Senior Fund Accountant wth at least 3 years background working in fund accounting.Responsibilities

• Participate in daily activities and review NAV pricing
• Manage financial statement reviews, quarterly performance disclosure, fund facts, and tax reports
• Oversee fund accounting records and NAV valuations
• Execute strategies and initiatives to help efficiency and productivity
• Prepare fund financial statement reports, and manage statements assigned by fund provider
• Collaborate with numerous internal and external parties
• Organize fund tax records and distributions
• Manage financial policies and implement controls
• Support with financial reporting and analyze portfolio

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or relative field
• CPA or other relevant professional designation ideal
• At least 3 years background working in fund accounting
• Proven background in financial reporting and derivative products
• Strong knowledge in SQL, Python and Power BI
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
• Detail oriented, professional an organized
