Title of the Job: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description: About Our Client:Our client is seeking a professional Senior Financial Analyst with a minimum of 3 years work experience in accounting/ finance or relevant role.Responsibilities

• Organize and execute monthly financial packages and provide analysis
• Review business units’ financials and variances to forecast and actuals
• Oversee quarterly disclosure packages and execute monthly key metric deliverables
• Provide analysis, repeating revenue rolls and renewal walls
• Oversee P&L forecast process for relevant business units and recognize forecasting patters
• Collaborate with other businesses regarding reviewal of transactions
• Complete monthly checks for accuracy and compliance of sub ledgers and documents in reference to (IFRS)
• Work closely with senior level management and auditors regarding interim reviews and year-end audits
• Oversee full cycle accounting and post journal entries
• Analyze cash flow and forecasting and manage payments, wires, and expenses
• Complete monthly reconciliations and balance sheets

Qualifications

• Business/Finance/Accounting degree (i.e. BBA, Comm. etc.), and completion an accounting designation (CPA)
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in accounting/ finance or relevant role
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office- especially Excel
• Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
• Background working with Great Plains, SAP BPC, and Sage Intacct (ideal)
• Detail oriented, professional and organized
