Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Manager to lead our testing efforts across a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing comprehensive Test Strategies, driving Test Automation initiatives, and managing Performance Testing to ensure high-quality delivery. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, excellent leadership skills, and a strong technical background in testing frameworks and tools.Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.Define test approaches, methodologies, and best practices for both functional and non-functional testing (e.g., performance, scalability, security).Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that test strategies meet business and technical requirements.
- Test Management:Oversee the end-to-end testing process, from test planning and execution to defect management and resolution.Ensure appropriate test environments, tools, and resources are available to the testing team.Manage test cycles, including integration, system, UAT, regression, and performance testing.Track testing progress, create reports, and provide updates to key stakeholders.
- Test Automation:Lead initiatives to implement and expand test automation across the development lifecycle.Evaluate and select automation tools based on project needs, and ensure automation frameworks are scalable and maintainable.Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Performance Management:Lead the design and execution of performance testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and load capacity.Analyze performance bottlenecks, identify potential areas for optimization, and collaborate with teams to resolve performance-related issues.Establish performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor ongoing system performance.
- Leadership & Team Management:Lead and mentor a team of QA testers, automation engineers, and performance testers.Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment within the testing team.Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement efforts in test methodologies, processes, and tools.Stay updated with the latest trends in test management, automation, and performance testing.
Key Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of experience in Test Management, with a strong background in Test Strategy Development, Test Automation, and Performance Management
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end testing efforts in agile and waterfall environments.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
