Job Description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The incumbent is responsible for acting in a senior capacity within the Corporate Actions Processing teams. This includes accurate and timely tendering of client instructions with multiple depositories/agents/issuers, as well as assisting with the flow of client inquiries received within the processing team.What will you do?

  • Tender instructions with depositories/agents/issuers on the same day received.
  • Review daily expiring events to ensure all instructions are correctly tendered with depositories/agents and positions are segregated where applicable.
  • Review and release tenders processed by team members.
  • Coordinate internally and externally for large/complex Corporate Action events.
  • Escalate all critical issues identified to the management team to ensure risk containment.
  • Review and respond to client inquiries on a timely manner.
  • Identify, develop and propose improvement on daily operations.
  • Update policies and procedures on a regular basis.

What do you need to succeed?Must Have

  • 2-4 years Back Office experience within financial services industry
  • Post-Secondary Education or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of Corporate Action Principals & Custody Platforms
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented
