They want your passion to learn everything about accounting for a publicly-traded company and all of the reporting that goes along with that!You are a newly designated CPA in a public practice firm with solid knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations, ready to make the leap to industry. Alternately, you are a late-stage CPA finalist in industry, assisting with the reporting for a publicly-traded company. Both would rocket you to the top of the list.Beyond this, you are someone who enjoys learning from the best and are happy to jump in and help with any new transaction when asked. From preparing consolidated financial statements and MD&A’s to learning about IPOs, RTOs, and changing exchanges, you will learn all you need to launch you towards an Assistant Controller role in the not-too-distant future.This really is an exciting opportunity to be part of a very successful group and be handsomely rewarded for your diligence. This will be a hybrid ‘in-office’ and ‘work-from-home’ role. The office is located in Downtown Vancouver with easy access to transit and great restaurants.TMGVCJob Requirements:

• A Canadian CPA designation or CPA finalist
• Public practice experience with a strong understanding of IFRS, or experience in an industry role assisting with IFRS reporting, ready for the next step
• Financial reporting or auditing experience under IFRS is a strong differentiator
• Exposure to the mining industry would be an asset
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about continuous learning
• Humble enough to know when to ask for help and seek guidance
• Bright, detail-oriented, able to work independently, but with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the team
