In this role, you will play a crucial role as a member of a highly dynamic and self-organizing product team while collaborating directly with business partners supporting critical functionality within Suncor’s Manage Supply and Products processes!Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP SD and MM
  • Hands-on experience on SAP IS-Oil, TSW, TD Shipment, HPM and Exchanges would be an asset
  • Business and technical experience supporting SAP S/4 focus in pricing
  • Basic knowledge of BTP, ABAP coding and debugging would be an asset
  • SAP related certifications (S4 HANA) or equivalent
  • Agile experience with delivery into enterprise organizations with familiarity of agile mindset
  • A related bachelor’s degree in business management or computer science and/or combination of other education and equivalent work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Support Suncor’s Manage Supply and Products business process (Product 2 Cash), implemented in SAP S/4, focused primarily in Oil and Gas downstream business processes
  • Manage the SAP function of pricing and billing
  • Support various interfaces with trading partners or in-house external systems
  • Responsible for translating the user’s requirement into a Functional/technical specification on which the new SAP configuration will be based
  • Proficiently resolve complex business / system problems quickly and effectively, either individually or by leading a team
  • Participate in the design, development, testing, implementation, and utilization of new business processes / solutions
  • You will provide coaching and training to Business end-users as required developing and enhancing their hands-on system skills
  • Experience working and collaborating within an Agile team mindset while contributing to the planning and prioritization of work
  • Participate and support software patches and upgrades within the application landscape

Location and other Key Details:

  • This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
