If so, we have a brilliant career opportunity for you as a Sales Support Coordinator, in our spectacular Calgary showroom.This full-time position will provide you with the opportunity to leverage your design and/or lighting background as you work with the Calgary sales team and our retail clientele, helping them light and furnish their residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Your goal is to assist the sales team in achieving their sales targets.Your typical day will see you:Welcoming showroom visitors and learning the reason behind their visitHelping people select and review products best suited to their project needsCoordinating with the appropriate sales team member to assist in completing the projectDeveloping clear and effective written proposals and quotationsConnecting and following-up with customers through email, telephone, and in-person interactionsProviding our Customer Service team with necessary information to resolve any product or delivery issuesAssisting the sales team with their established accounts and develop further sales opportunitiesEnsuring showroom appearance is maintained by upholding merchandising, cleanliness, and organisational standardsAssisting in Product Knowledge sessions with our vendorsParticipating in showroom events as neededArranging shipping, receiving and storage for incoming and outgoing deliveriesYou will succeed in this role if you:Are a natural people person and love working with peopleHave a keen eye for design and feel comfortable advising peopleAre highly organised, punctual, reliable, and take pride in your workAre a positive team player and love a challengeKeep abreast of product applications, technical services, and competitive activitiesParticipate whenever possible in industry events and activities, educational opportunitiesConsistently meet or exceed monthly sales targetsOur ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:Two years minimum experience in retail sales relevant to the design or luxury product industries e.g. lighting, furniture, accessories, fashionA post-secondary degree/certificate in Interior Architecture/Design and/or Lighting Design, Business Administration or related fieldPractical work experience and an ability to demonstrate a high level of lighting and furniture industry knowledge is also acceptableAptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customersDetail-oriented with a strong ability to assess and work with complex data and systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management softwareYou will be supported by our Regional Sales Manager, our Marketing Team, and our Accounting and Operations Teams.If you’re serious about a career in the design industry, you’ll find that LightForm and Dwell Modern offer a rare opportunity for career advancement while working with experienced design professionals to create beautiful spaces.A full benefits package is offered to all full-time employees.
