Job Description: We are offering a full time permanent day position in the perioperative services with a Monday to Friday schedule and no calls.Under the supervision of the anesthesiologist, the respiratory therapist:
-Prepares all necessary equipment and medication for each patient
-Performs or assists all aspects of airway maintenance
-Ensures continuous monitoring of the patient during surgery and makes necessary adjustments as per patient condition
-Is responsible for proper use and maintenance of equipmentQualifications
– Collegial degree in Respiratory Therapy
– Current license from OPIQ
– Bilingual (French and English)
– Two (2) years of relevant experience, including at least one (1) year in the operating room
– Experience in pediatric, an asset
