Job Description: Job Title: Resource PlannerJob DescriptionThe Planner II (Resource Planning) supports all new construction programs by developing and managing labor resource plans. The Planner II is responsible for distributing the contract budget as per the Program/Project Plan, developing project staffing and trades plans by resource type to report and advise on short, medium, and long-term requirements. The role also involves creating resource performance metrics and analyzing possible resource gaps. Responsibilities include providing budget calculations for activities during strategy and capacity plan changes, supporting the Rolling Wave Planning Process by exporting data from a 3D model and applying efficiency norms, managing project resources, supporting Earned Value Management reviews, and developing program staffing and trades plans. The planner will work with the finance team to develop business and headcount plans and liaise with the Workforce Development and HR team to ensure accurate hiring plans. Additionally, the planner will improve and supervise utilization metrics and assist in developing Business Intelligence reporting in Power BI and Excel.Hard Skills

• Excellent Excel skills with ability to handle massive amounts of data (functions, pivot, graph) and summarize data into meaningful insight
• Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Word)
• Budget calculation experience
• CAD experience is an asset
• IFS experience is an asset
• P6, MSP experience is an asset
• PBI experience is an asset
• Estimating experience is an asset

Soft Skills
