Join usUnder the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and as an integral part of a maintenance team, the technician will be responsible for carrying out vibration and predictive monitoring, analyzing data and drawing up reports and recommendations. They will be interacting on a regular basis with our customers to help them avoid unplanned shutdowns.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Perform vibration, thermographic and ultrasonic measurements on industrial equipment.
  • Perform oil collections for condition analysis.
  • Perform data analysis using software and document the results.
  • Develop reports and make technical recommendations and interact with clients.
  • Perform precision corrective work including dynamic balancing, laser and geometric alignment in industrial plants.
  • Work on implementation programs and improvement of plant reliability (lubrication program and optimization of preventive maintenance).

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • DEP or DEC in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance
  • Experience is an asset but not mandatory
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in the clients’ best interest.
  • Professional attitude, ease in communicating with people, autonomy and initiative
  • Ability to communicate in French and functional English
  • Able to write concise and meaningful reports that ensure understanding of recommendations
  • Available to travel within Eastern Canada
  • Computer skills, Windows & MS Office environment
