Job Description: The Care Group (“TCG”) offers high quality residential care and senior living across our nine (9) homes in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Based in Coquitlam, we are a local family owned and operated care provider.THE OPPORTUNITYWe are looking for dedicated and conscientious Casual Registered Nurse to join our friendly team at Lakeshore Care Center.What does a Registered Nurse do?

• Resident admissions, discharges and transfers
• Resident assessments and care planning
• Administration of medications, treatments and wound care
• Proficient with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments
• Liaises with physicians, families and other
• Delegates tasks to unregulated care providers
• Charge Nurse responsibilities: participates in Care Conferences and Medication reviews.

Shifts: CasualWage and benefits according to BCNU.Qualifications:

• Registered and in good standing with BCCNM
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Competent in electronic documentation and EMar
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Previous experience in Long Term Care Preferred
• Proof of Vaccination

About us: Lakeshore Care Centre is centrally located in the Como Lake community of Coquitlam, B.C. 56 licensed residential care beds; 35 Fraser Health subsidized care beds and 21 private pay. Care beds are primarily single occupancy with limited double occupancy available. Our rooms are both private and semi-private. Our home is conveniently one story and has large outdoor patios where many activities are held throughout the spring and summer months.
