Title of the Job: Regional Operations Manager

Job Description: Description :Position Summary:
This position will interface with bottler NRS Coke personnel, MEC BU’s, and all key stakeholders within the bottlers/distributors to communicate corporately-mandated programs as well as develop and ensure execution of strategies and programs to enhance Monster Energy Company sales and share within our AOM/Independent bottler lead customers.Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with NRS Coke representative teams to ensure execution of agreed upon Monster & customer objectives.
  • Initiate and secure meetings with the appropriate NRS Coke reps to review the Monster business and discuss sales growth opportunities.
  • Proactively communicate with the MEC Business Units on opportunities and execution of key programs with their AOM/Independent customers. Additionally, work in collaboration with the respective Monster Region Managers, Commercialization teams, and FSR’s as needed.
  • Train internal Monster employees on execution at store level and best practices to utilize when working with and selling to AOM/Independent customers.
  • Work with MEC’s distribution partners in training and understanding the energy category, MEC brands, and MEC business within the AOM/Independent channel, in addition to developing best practices for working with and executing our programs with our customers.
  • Work on special projects as identified by their manager to grow Monster sales and share.
  • Conducts business reviews with customers, our distribution partners, and MEC personnel to identify opportunities for sales growth.
  • Demonstrates a passion for understanding business practices, trends and technology affecting the business, industry and marketplace.
  • Leverage understanding of key business drivers, such as customers, consumers, competitors, and company, to get results.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of issues relevant to the broad organization.
  • Maintains customer focus to proactively identify opportunities to improve service to the customer, quickly and effectively responds to customer problems, partners with other functions/department to meet customer needs.
  • Understands and anticipates how business plans and actions will impact both MEC and the customer financially.
  • Provides timely, constructive and actionable feedback to coach others to improve performance.
  • Ability to present to large and small audiences with the customers, bottlers or MEC BU’s
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Marketing or Finance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers; ability to collaborate at all levels of both the internally within the Monster Energy Company as well as with the customer.
  • Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses.
  • Able to work independently while being a team player.
  • Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed; generally 70% of time traveling.
  • Must be able to proactively work with multiple departments of the company and drive results and accomplish goals.

Base Pay Range: $61,350 CAD – $81,800 CAD (+)
