If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!SOUTHLAND Transportation is looking for a bright, reliable, and friendly full-time Receptionist to join our team. You will work among a team of professionals in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, assisting with various administrative and HR duties when needed. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and a positive first impression of SOUTHLAND and its employees. The shift for this position will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to visitors and telephone callers
• Maintain the phone system: answer and direct phone calls received, relay messages and forward e-mails as required
• Prepare, sort and distribute mail, pay statements, logbooks, fuel envelops, and driver runs
• Assign fuel cards and conduct fuel audits
• Maintain common areas, office equipment and supplies
• Communicate between departments, drivers and parents for run updates
• Provide HR assistance when needed

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and office experience
• Knowledge of multi-set reception telephone system
• Excellent telephone etiquette, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally while exhibiting confidentiality and tact
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Exceptional organizational, analytic problem solving, and diplomacy skills
• Knowledge of transportation systems an asset

Wage: $18.00 – $21.50/hour
