Job Description: Quality Control Inspector (Afternoon Shift)-OnsiteWe are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our world-class manufacturing and design facility in Ottawa, Ontario!As our Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure that all products and material conform to, drawings, specifications, Curtiss-Wright workmanship standards and contractual requirements. You shall provide support for both Receiving Inspection of raw material and Final Inspection of manufactured product. Additionally, you will complete non-conformances reports when defects are found. Feedback to Man Eng. any findings. Cables, Power Supply’s etc.Complete all logs and test reports as required by Manufacturing EngineerAttend all IST-related MRB meetings to provide input and relay to group outcome of meetingsInteract with NPI and PWB Teams and Steering committees for IST process related issues and problemsCoordinate conference calls with the Supplier of the equipment as required and at any point request onsite visit from them and be the POC for those visits for IST Machine related upgrades and or any operating issues being seen by the IST MachinesArrange appropriated Calibration/Maintenance schedules working directly with the ME support Team that will allow the Testers to see the least amount of down time during these mandatory effortsAttend trainings and understand the test requirements for various IST coupon designsIdentify and document non-conforming productsProvide feedback on all IST-related issues to Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineering and the IST group and make recommendations for continuous process improvements.What You Bring:Technical Diploma in related field2 – 4 years’ experience in quality inspection of military electronic productsCertified IPC-A-610Good communication skills — spoken and writtenGood computer skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Exchange)SAP and EM Quality skills are an asset.Who We AreAt our world-class manufacturing and design facility in Ottawa, Ontario, we manufacture rugged products optimized for high-mix, high quality and small batch sizes typical of military requirements.
