For Life.Position: Project Lead, CampaignsReports to: Director of Campaign StrategyPosition Term: Full Time PermanentPrimary Location: Mississauga, Ontario, CanadaWorkplace Type: HybridJob PurposeThe Project Lead in the Campaigns team plays a key role in the set-up, execution and reporting of company-wide campaigns. Working at a zoomed-out view and in the daily details, this role is a blend of administrative skills and organizational collaboration.Working as the right hand to the Director of Campaign Strategy, this role will see campaigns from concept to execution, expertly pulling together cross-company stakeholders, external vendors.Duties and responsibilitiesProject Management
- Kickoff campaign development with research into historical performance, market trends and competitive analysis
- Organize project requirements, timelines and meeting cadence to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure business requirements are accurately documented, clear, and up to date. This includes resolving differences / conflicts in requirements being supplied from multiple / conflicting business stakeholders
- Proactively seek out, identify, and resolve gaps and understand impact that may result in misalignment and in accurate project expectations
- Bring business owners and planners together (business owners, architects, managers, technical leads, experts, etc.) to define and design the campaign solution ensuring the vision is clearly shared with all relevant stakeholders
- Create, manage and communicate company-wide campaigns calendar
- Communicate project status updates regularly, providing accurate status and risk updates
- Escalate appropriate program / project issues as well as opportunities in a timely and proactive manner
Administrative Organization
- Record detailed meeting minutes and follow upon gaps of information within meetings
- Perform administrative duties such as vendor applications, invoice management and contract renewals
- Manage weekly schedule of campaign strategy team, coordinating meetings with multiple departments
- Develop and carry out efficient organization system of key assets, project briefs and historical tracking of campaigns
- Preparing, formatting, and editing various documents, creating reports, presentations
- Data entry and management of tracking documents, information collection and other net new documentation
Cross Team Collaboration
- Promote an innovative environment and culture allowing staff the autonomy to identify and explore opportunities, generate ideas, fresh perspectives, original approaches to existing or new initiatives / concepts
- Collaboratively innovate and identify areas of improvement to achieve increased business value, decreased risks, staff engagement, organization effectiveness, and more
- Create a culture that fosters innovation by championing, promoting, and adopting grassroots innovation within day-to-day work, team activities, and the organization as a whole
- Promote the WVC Innovation Framework and encourage staff to use innovative tools, techniques and processes
QualificationsEssential
- Professional designation in Project Management (PMP) or 2+ Years of experience working in any of Scrum / Scaled Scrum / Scaled Agile Framework SAFe
- 5+ years’ experience in the relevant marketing field
- 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, Technical Lead / Project Lead
- Demonstrated ability to guide business owners through project strategy, requirements gathering, planning, design, development, testing, and support phases
- Demonstrated ability of effectively working in dynamic (constantly evolving) results-driven environments with competing stakeholder requirements and delivery timelines
- Demonstrated high level of personal ownership, collaborative teamwork, holistic value-centric perspective, work adaptability, and innovation
- Demonstrated collaboration, organizational, interpersonal, communication, conflict management, problem solving, change management, attention to detail, decision making, and analytical skills
Nice-to-haves
- PMP, Agile certification(SAFe). LEAN methodology, Design Thinking
- Experience with Vendor Management, Procurement
