Job Description: On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Project Financials Analyst on a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.Summary of the role:
The Project Financials Analyst will support the SAP Operations team by maintaining resource planning spreadsheets and improving processes for budgeting and forecasting SAP-related projects. The primary focus is on tracking SAP resource allocation and enhancing the accuracy of financial data. The role involves collaboration with various departments, using Excel to manage complex project financials and providing insights into budget tracking.Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain existing spreadsheets for resource planning related to SAP projects (capital and sustainment work).
• Develop tools to streamline the budgeting and forecasting of resources, aligning processes with other SAP areas.
• Support operational reporting and monitoring (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Update resource forecasting and monitor variances, ensuring projects track closely to plan.
• Act as the primary contact for work delivery on defined initiatives.
• Support process documentation for operational activities.

Core Requirements:

• Advanced Excel expertise, including macros.
• Experience with budgeting, tracking actuals to plan, and forecasting.
• Experience with process documentation.
• Familiarity with pulling financial/cost data for SAP FI/CO/PS modules.
• Strong project orientation and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with SAP HR, ServiceNow, Jira, or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager for documentation and change management processes.

Terms:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work arrangement.
