What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage projects and activities related to major milestones for one of many existing and/or new platforms;
- Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule and budget of projects;
- Lead and coordinate Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
- Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget;
- Manage priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities;
- Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution;
- Prepare and provide visibility of budget requirement / resource allocation;
- Prepare and present visibility reports for the various levels of the organization;
- Coordinate Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross-functional reviews;
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have an Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent working experience, with 5-8 years in project management or aerospace;
- You are familiar with Program/Project Management processes and principles;
- You have sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience;
- Previous experience in structural and / or systems development would be an asset.
- You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills;
- You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;
- You have a natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- You are self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic and results oriented;
- You are technically curious;
- You demonstrate ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment;
- You have effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets;
- You have good computing skills; proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset
