Job Description: About This RoleReporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management, the candidate will oversee and manage all products within a specific product line, including both steady-state productions and new product developments.Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the product-line profitability, reporting and monitoring across the entire lifecycle of the product.
- Responsible for developing detailed product roadmap, business case and product requirements.
- Act as the first point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with product teams, customer support, sales and Product Change Control Board on product evolution.
- Define technology insertion roadmap for specific platforms related to a specific product line.
- Provide input in business cases regarding specific product lines.
- Oversees the execution for specific platforms through interactions with product teams (engineering, operations, finance) on product changes.
- Interface with customer support on product evolution.
- Interface with sales support for standard presentations, campaign support, customer meetings.
- Develop, execute and manage pricing strategies for assigned categories that allow CAE to be competitive while maintain the maximum product gross margins.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree with 5-8 years of relevant working experience in product management.
- Software development / technical background strongly preferred, but not required
- Experience in managing a cost center, budget or P&L, in excess of $1M
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Effective project planning and project management skills
- Ability to lead and work effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Experience in developing product strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Ability to coach and provide guidance.
- Excellent problem solving skills.

- o Strong knowledge of various simulators.
- o Customer focused.
- o Result oriented.
