And we are One Driving ForceTM.Plasman, 635 Sprucewood, Windsor, ON, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:PROCESS TECHNICIANS – MoldingOur ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills and would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Mold set-up as required * Ensure proper set up as set out by the Technical/Shift Supervisor
- Monitor and make process adjustments as required to maintain quality and productivity levels.
- Direct Set-up technicians, in a manner conductive to their development and education.
- Operate overhead crane in a safe manner
- Set-up end of arm tooling on robots
- Ensure first/last off inspections are completed and maintain SPC aspects of process and react when problems arise
- Perform production runs when required
- Perform tryout and production related duties as required and communicate concerns
- |Identify and recommend maintenance if required
- Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Comply with established rules, procedures and Health & Safety mandates
- Abide by the Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct.
- Completion of any other duties as assigned.
- Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed related post-secondary educationMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Preferred 2 years working within a technical capacityExperience with injection molding processes and set up within a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated level of knowledge, skill and ability as a process technicianOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Ability to work quickly and efficiently and the ability to perform well in high pressure situations * Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available to work 12 hour shifts, Friday to Sunday
