Job Description: Savard is Hiring a Die Setter / Press operator in Elmira, On for Job ID 20280Job Description:
Die Setter/Press Set-up Technician expectations are to satisfy production & quality needs by efficiently setting up & tearing down metal stamping dies in the automotive stamping industry. Full safety, quality & production training will be provided.Responsibilities:
-Operating 200, 250 & 400-ton Presses.
-Must be able to determine priorities daily & make any necessary adjustment during shift -Able to set up and operate presses including feed equipment.
-Ability to troubleshoot and perform small repairs when necessary.
-Assist in part first offs and inspection.
-Experience with progressive dies.
-Instruct and perform all safety requirements on presses.
-Must be able to work the hours posted for.
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
-Work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
-Work well in a team environment & communicate clearly with others. -Ability to lift 50 lbs.
-Self Motivated, flexible, adaptive, & energetic.
– Occasionally operate a forklift and Overhead crane.Shift:
Night Shift: Monday – Thursday 4: 30 pm – 3: 00 am (4X10 hour shifts / Week)Pay Range:
$24.00 to $29.00Up to $1160 weekly with 40 hrsExperience:
