This position specializes in the assembly, diagnostics, and repair of automated control valve products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. It requires a solid mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to meet quality and safety standards. If you have experience in manufacturing or industrial environments and are looking for a challenging role with growth opportunities, this position is perfect for you!· Adhere to strict quality standards and perform new control valve assembly work, including instrumentation diagnostics, seat leak testing, and hydrostatic testing.· Disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and test repaired control valves in a “quick ship” MRO environment, ensuring all repairs are function-tested, documented, and prepared for blasting and painting.· Prepare internal parts for critical dimension checks and machining to meet product specifications.· Operate hand tools such as various wrenches (manual, electric, or air), torque wrenches, hoists, and valve testing equipment to ensure all products meet stringent quality requirements.· Conduct seat, hydrostatic, and valve/instrument diagnostics testing programs to maintain product integrity and performance.· Maintain a safe workplace by following Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and practices.· Meet production goals and ensure on-time delivery by adhering to company timelines and quality practices.· Assist with preventative maintenance on assembly testing and production equipment.· Clean, sandblast, and paint valve components as necessary.· Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, assemble, and repair control valves and instrumentation, providing technical support and accurate service reports.· Requirements:· Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments with strong mechanical aptitude.· Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, method specifications, and pneumatic schematics.· Familiarity with machine shop mathematics and geometric tolerances.· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications.· Must possess a valid driver’s license and be available for overtime, weekend, and holiday work during plant outages and turnarounds.· Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in a demanding environment.· Excellent communication and documentation skills with a customer-focused approach.· Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.Precision Assembler Hours & Wage· Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.· $25-$27About Us:Express Employment Professionals works with job seekers to help them find the right job based on their skills and experience.
