Job Description: Your Opportunity:Description:As a Plumber, you will plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls used to transport water, waste, gas and air. You will be responsible for monitoring, testing, trouble shooting, documenting and analyzing performance of plumbing, medical gas, domestic hot & cold water, tempered water, glycol, chilled water, natural gas, storm and sanitary sewer, associated distribution and control systems and equipment. In addition, you will prepare feasibility and cost estimates and reports; request or order supplies.

Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Plumber Certificate from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training. Additional Required Qualifications:Must also be an Alberta Journeyman Plumber or Canadian Red Seal Journeyman Plumber. Candidate should have 5 years commercial construction or commercial service experience preferably in a healthcare setting. Candidate must be competent operating drain cleaning equipment. Candidate must be able to speak, write and understand English language. Candidate must be physically fit and capable of regular walking, climbing stairs, or working off ladder. Candidate must also be able to regularly lift 20kg, stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time. Candidate must be able to work both independently and within a team atmosphere. Preferred Qualifications:Cross Connection Control Certificate from the AWWA.
