Job #4742- Great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a stable organization on a full-time basis! Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting the bi-weekly payroll function and associated reporting. If you have solid payroll experience and are comfortable with data entry, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss. Main responsibilities include:

• Process bi-weekly payroll, including journal entries and processing different calculations and adjustments, payouts and ROE requests
• Process pension and RRSP working papers and expenses
• File and process WSIB payments
• Calculate benefits adjustments, including long term disability and taxable benefit calculations
• Liaise with HR on salary increases
• Process manual payroll entries as needed
• Responsible for year-end tasks including but not limited to T4’s & T2200’s
• Additional duties as required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 3+ years’ experience of payroll experience
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
• Strong analytical skills
• High degree of accuracy

Assets:

• PCP Designation
• Previous experience with Ceridian PowerPay or Ceridian DayForce
• Experience with NetSuite or Great Plains

Compensation:

• $65,000 – $75,000 annual salary
