Title of the Job: Payroll Administrator

Location: Ottawa, ON

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage the payroll processes for our Ottawa area client. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of payroll regulations, experienced in year in processes such as T4 preparation and is skilled working in ADP Workforce Now.As the ideal candidate, you are someone that will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring your knowledge of payroll legislation and principles to support our company’s success.Advantages

– Process bi-weekly payroll
– Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
– Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
– Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
– Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.
– Coordinate with HR to ensure employee records are up-to-date and accurate.
– Assist with year-end reporting, including T4’s and other tax-related documents.
– Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
– Stay current on payroll regulations and best practicesQualifications
– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field of study
– PCP or in the process of completion
– 3 to 5 years prior experience supporting full cycle payroll processes
– Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar system
– Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal (Bilingualism would be considered a strong asset)Summary
