Title of the Job: Parts Advisor, Mining

Location: Acheson, AB

Job Description: Join our team as a Mining Parts Advisor and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service. Your mission will be to support our Service team to significantly decrease operating costs and minimize equipment downtime for our customers. This role demands an understanding of trade practices, focusing on parts and major components specific to mining equipment. Elevate our customer experience by leveraging your expertise and dedication to excellence.The role requires flexibility to cover a 7/7 rotation as needed. The typical shift operates on a 5/2 schedule, from Monday to Friday. Infrequent travel to offsite mine sites.Responsibilities

  • Champion Liebherr Environmental, Health and Safety standards.
  • Provide parts advice and expertise to all Mining customers, Internal and External.
  • Process all Parts Orders for Mining Customers Nationally.
  • Communicate with the Parts Planner to ensure parts are available for the Planned Delivery Date.
  • Coordinate all machine down orders.
  • Build strong relationships with the Liebherr factories and distribution centers.
  • Review weekly stock orders to ensure the parts required are on schedule. In addition, advise customers external and internal regarding any delays.
  • Process all returns as per the Liebherr Canada return policy and procedure.
  • Provide support during the Acheson branch inventory counts.
  • Work with the service supervisor to administrate all parts required for support equipment and procurement of consumables for the Fort McKay location.
  • Create purchase orders when necessary.
  • Enter invoices into customer portals where applicable, email invoices to customer AP where applicable and correct any errors related to billing and payment issues.
  • Process and create all core claims for corresponding factories – coordinate core return as well as credit notes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

  • Journeyperson/Red Seal license required.
  • Previous experience in heavy equipment parts preferred.
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong passion for learning, with adaptability to thrive in an evolving industry.
