Job Description: How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The primary purpose and goal of this position is to safely operate and maintain efficiencies at our Hamilton plant, and aid in supporting both the SMR Outside and Lead Hand Operator roles.Operate, maintain low and high pressure steam systems, industrial gas networks, cryogenic plants and pipeline systems.Operate and maintain environmental control equipment.Operate equipment to support various production units; cryogenic systems, including turbines, pumps, compressors, cooling towers, water treatment systems, steam and gas systems, and distillation columns.Operate control systems (DCS and local HMIs) to ensure safe and efficient operation of ASU and SMR facilities.Perform chemical analysis on process water, steam systems, industrial gasses, cryogenic liquids and adjust systems to maintain operations.Provide isolation, lockouts, clearances and safe work permits on utilities, process systems and equipment.Assist in development and training of the Outside Operator role in operating ASU and SMR facilities.Assist in the development of energy isolation procedures, safe work practices and operating procedures.Operate in accordance with all applicable procedures, policies and regulations.Assists with daily quality assurances and product analysis.Are you a MATCH?This position requires a minimum of a 4th Class Power (Operating) Engineering Certificate.Completion of 700T ASU training competency evaluations and scored a minimum passing grade of 75% on 700T theory and practical written and verbal exams.Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial environment, acting in an operations focused position.Our Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
