Location: Ottawa, ON

Job Description: We are looking for a SharePoint Business Transformation Architect for a current opportunity with a Federal Government department. The candidate must already possess a security clearance at the Reliability level (Level I) or higher.About the ProjectThe resource will work with the SharePoint Online Initiative (SPOI) team to assist Review Services business owners in reviewing their processes and re-organizing their information in a structured manner, by capturing and analyzing their requirements, and proposing an information architecture that will have SPO sites dedicated to its business lines.About the Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and development of architecture requirements design, process development, process mapping and training.
• Analyze and define both the “As Is” and “To Be” business processes and perform a gap analysis.
• Identify organizational and project business opportunities for improvement and streamlining of business processes.
• Lead other functional staff to define business strategy and processes in support of business transformation activities.
• Translate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems to technical teams designing and implementing the solution.
• Perform business architecture and modelling, including required technical tasks necessary (in SPO and M365 tools), by working directly with the SPOI project team.
• Coordinate with the various Department’s IT teams as necessary to achieve the project’s objectives.
• Advise management or other senior executives on industry best practices and trends which may impact business strategy and design.
• Provide business transformation advice during meetings, Technical Working Group sessions, or at any times as requested by the client, in support the architectural work. This may be in the form of presentations, briefings, dashboards, etc.
• Prepare lessons learned, as required.

About the Qualifications

• A minimum of (10) years’ experience as a Business Transformation Architect; or 5+ years of experience with a recognized professional certification.
• Experience preparing project charter’s containing SharePoint Online Initiative (SPOI) project scope, objectives, goals, resources, roles and responsibilities, timelines, milestones, etc.
• Experience designing diagrams and models for (use case, activity diagram, business process models); and detailing the documented functional requirements.
• A minimum of (5) years’ experience performing business architecture and business modelling.
• A minimum of (6) years’ experience facilitating stakeholder workshops to develop future state models; and developing transition plans to move to the future state.
