Typing of letters to CRA and MRQ
Formatting tax memos
Online updates for clients’ addresses
Collating/mailing CDA, Rollovers, Objections
Preparation of T4A for clients
Call different government bodiesComplete forms for governments
Respond to lawyer request for information regarding financial statements
CRA and MRQ authorizations for clients.
CRA and MRQ online accounts for new employees
Front end of tax season – scanning, organizing slips, starting transmittals, putting info into caseware (documents received by email from clients)A successful candidate will have:Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an office administrative role (preferably in an accounting firm)
Excellent analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Superb organization skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
Experience with MS Office
CaseWare/CaseView, and Taxprep is considered a strong asset.
Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others
