Title of the Job: Nordic Area Director – Ski Resort

Job Description: Description· Health & Safety/Risk Management

• Champion and uphold all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff by actively promoting safety culture and compliance throughout the Nordic area.
• Facilitate annual training, onboarding, and continuous education for all team members, ensuring they are well-versed in safety protocols, risk management, and emergency procedures. Document all training and compliance efforts to support a proactive approach to safety.

· Professional Development

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment that supports team members in expanding their skills, developing professionally, and experiencing a sense of accomplishment and reward within their roles.
• Act as a mentor by providing guidance, regular feedback, and setting goals for team members. Champion the company’s core values and principles in day-to-day operations and decision-making.

· Customer Service

• Foster a guest-centric, welcoming approach across all areas, setting high standards that ensure each guest feels valued and experiences a seamless, memorable winter adventure.
• Lead the team in creating a consistently positive atmosphere, encouraging team members to engage with guests actively, anticipate their needs, and go above and beyond to resolve concerns, cultivating loyalty and lasting connections that keep guests returning each season.

Requirements

• Strong background in leadership, ideally within a Nordic skiing or winter resort environment.
• Exceptional commitment to team development and guest service.
• Enthusiasm for winter sports and creating memorable guest experiences.
