Title of the Job: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Hamilton, ON

Job Description: DescriptionAppleOne is hiring for Mechanical Assemblers for a client in Guelph, ON. Must have manufacturing experience with mechanical assembly.
Day Shift: 6:45am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday
$21/hrDuties:

• The Assembler is responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of industrial water systems according to specifications.
• Assemble sub components of equipment.
• Position, install, and secure all sub-components into various pieces of equipment as per appropriate drawings (use of hand tools)
• Perform self-inspection to verify that all components are installed and match applicable drawings and sign QA documentation.
• Perform paint touch up where required to ensure product quality.
• Package all equipment to meet shipping requirements (i.e.: overseas vs. domestic).

Requirements:

• Ability to assemble equipment to assembly and process drawings.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude: must be proficient in understanding basic pipe, and skid layout and assembly, use of hand and power tools
• Experience in PVC pipe gluing an asset.
• Preference will be given to previous experience in manufacturing of large water treatment equipment.
