Our philosophy is centered on providing clients with client-focused service, notable value and tailored solutions.The opportunityThe primary focus of the Manager, Registered Plans Trustee Services is the management and oversight of our Registered Plans Trustee Services division and will be accountable for the Registered Plans Trustee portfolio and the top client relationships for CWB Trust Services. This position will play a key role in the growth of this line of business by providing expert registered plan knowledge directly to our clients and identify new product and service opportunities.This role will be based out of our CWT office in Vancouver, BC.Day-to-day activitiesPeople Leadership.Lead with purpose. Drive engagement by building trust and creating an environment of empowerment.Empower team members in producing and driving business results and key priorities forward.Mentor, coach, engage, and support team members with active involvement in performance management, career development, talent acquisition and team engagement.Build collaborative relationships across CWB.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills that drive inclusive behaviours.Accept responsibility and accountability for actions and results.Make decisions guided by common sense and sound business judgment.Driving Client Relationships.Ensure strong client relationships are the priority and are maintained through your own interactions with clients, as well as your teams.Dive into our clients’ businesses and exceed their expectation of CWB Trust Services at all stages.Manager operational tasks during the client onboarding phase.Research and accurately resolve client issues in a timely manner.Be our ExpertCollaborate closely with senior leadership to help establish and support business objectives and prioritize projects accordingly.Update and amend internal policy and procedures to adjust to any changes to registered plan legislation.Identify and execute projects that provide strategic improvement to our operations or that are important to ensure compliance with current policy or regulationTake current registered plans legislation and operationalize it by translating into policy and procedure, and ensuring that specimen documents and all related client forms are updated to complyTake a leading role in identifying and or assessing new registered products for addition to CWT’s overall Registered Plans Trustee Services offeringFoundational knowledge and experience to grow fromA bachelor’s degree in: Business Management, Finance, Commerce, or a related field with 4 years experience & demonstrated ability in registered plan operations and pension plan administration.
