The roleWe are seeking an empathetic, agile, and results-driven individual who can effectively partner with relevant departments to own and drive the HR function and the Employee Experience at mobileLIVE. As Manager – HR, you will drive the complete employee journey which may include stages in onboarding, retention and engagement programs while developing and reinforcing the desired brand culture.You will
- Participate as an executive team member on strategy and business planning, translating those strategic decisions into HR strategies and plans
- Lead a team of HR professionals based in Eastern Canada and South east Asia.
- Collaborate with cross-functional VPs, Directors, Manager and other senior leaders across the organization to define and implement the HR strategic agenda
- Lead the implementation of development, planning, and performance development strategies to manage and retain the best employees through a positive employee experience
- Plan, attend and represent mobileLIVE at different academic and technology/IT related events to promote mobileLIVE Brand and attract talent
- Share knowledge on effective practices, competitive intelligence, improvement opportunities, and transformational needs
- Adhere to high ethical standards, have/maintain detailed knowledge of and comply with all regulations/applicable employment laws
- Respond to and resolve employee concerns, provide career guidance to the staff, proactively communicate on the on-going HR and company initiatives
- Take responsibility for aligning business objectives, employees, and management
- Champion and role model our culture, brand mission, purpose, values, and philosophy
- Support HR team in process improvement projects, onboarding and off-boarding, and high potential employee development necessary to increase organizational effectiveness
- Administer the employee appreciation strategy to promote and automate the employee recognition program
Who you are
- You have a university degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
- You have a CHRM/L designation or equivalent
- You have 10+ years’ relevant experience in Human Resources, currently working at a senior level, ideally with a focus on employee retention, employee growth and development, compensation and familiarity with federally regulated companies would be an advantage.
- You have the drive and motivation to further your career within the company
- You have experience leading an HR team of professionals across multiple sites and provinces within Canada,
- You have previous experience working within a Shared Services business model (asset)
- You have strong personal credibility, influencing, and other communication skills
- You have exposure to Continuous Improvement tools, methodologies, and culture
