Job Description: Description :O2E Brands is looking for a Manager, Application Engineering, to join our growing team! As part of the Business Technology department, you will lead and manage a salesforce development team across multiple streams, and drive consistency with development practices, environment management, and deployment standards.Starting January 2025, all team members in Vancouver and Toronto will be required to work in-office every other week, for three consecutive days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). To support business priorities, core hours of attendance will be mandatory from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on these days.A DAY IN THE LIFE:– Work closely with Product and delivery teams to understand, define, and prioritize desired product and technical roadmap initiatives.– Address technical support issues and improve the overall health of the platform and associated processes.– Collaborate with architects and other product and development resources to design and implement scalable, integrated enterprise solutions.– Encourage innovation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, best practices, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.– Work within highly collaborative teams using agile-based software development methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).– Work with management, other senior engineers, software architects, and quality assurance engineers, to resolve development roadblocks.– Mentor, coach, and motivate the team to deliver high-quality software.– Maintain team metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence and a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement.– Participate in project resourcing, staffing, and hiring decisions.– Define professional development goals and conduct performance reviews.– Participate in code reviews and ensure that developers follow the desired architectural patterns and adhere to standard software development methodologies.– Participate in creating estimates for internal and customer-facing projects.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:– A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Manager/Lead.– A minimum of 2+ years of experience creating technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.– A minimum of 6+ years of experience in technology implementation for full-lifecycle enterprise software projects.– 1 + year of experience working on SFS implementation preferred.– Proven track record in managing and building a highly functional salesforce team.– Understanding of SFDC Platform Design and implementation.– In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of SFDC CRM/FSM/communities.– Experience in Agile methodologies, with the ability to follow internal standards within a scrum delivery team.– Experience in release management using at least one continuous integration tool with code versioning best practices and deployment methodologies.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS-Salary: 130k to 140k per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).-The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental.
